Dr. Ahmad Anouti's Testimonial, a proud Grenoble Ecole de Management graduate.

From the time I started my academic life as a university lecturer, it had been a dream to pursue my doctoral degree, and this dream was partially achieved when I was accepted into the DBA program at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

The DBA journey became an enormously rich experience the first day I stepped onto GEM’s campus at Grenoble and we candidates were welcomed in a well-organized reception by Dr. Polski and GEM’s team. From our first workshop, we had this feeling of belonging, of being part of one of the most prestigious business schools in France, a triple-accredited institution from which we would be incredibly proud to graduate.

The DBA experience gave all of us candidates a chance to meet not only professors but also new friends. After completing each workshop, we looked forward to the upcoming one because the workshops were rich with not only academic information but also experience sharing.

It was a journey, a marathon, a mission that I have challenged myself to complete; I had some ups and downs while moving into this new world of research that holds plenty of encounters and experiments. But, in the end, I knew it would boost both my professional and social status.

Why have I chosen a DBA? Well, I was seeking to engage with a doctoral program that combines both professional and academic experiences. This program is a challenge by itself, but one which is  well-worth it. At the end of the DBA, you will be challenged to come up with not only an academic contribution but also a managerial implication that creates harmony in the research outcome.

Some modifications were needed to my thesis after I submitted it, and I understand that some candidates might feel offended if asked to make changes. But, in my case, those requested modifications enriched the quality of my thesis and highlighted many things I should consider in my future researches.

My journey at Grenoble Ecole de Management has been completed, my dream has been fulfilled, and a new research journey has started. I will forever be grateful for GEM’s team (professors and administrators) for providing the finest academic experience with the best status anyone can dream of. Grenoble Ecole de Management will forever be the greatest self-investment decision that I ever made.

A proud GEM graduate,

Dr. Ahmad Anouti
